Privacy Policy
1.Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly and information collected automatically:
Information you provide
- Account & contact information — name, email address, shipping address, date of birth.
- Health information — the medical and intake information you submit so a provider can evaluate you (for example, medical history, symptoms, medications, and photos you choose to share).
- Payment information — processed by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
Information collected automatically
- Device & usage data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and similar analytics data.
- Cookies & tracking technologies — including cookies and pixels from analytics and advertising partners (see Section 4).
2.How we use your information
- To operate the platform and connect you with independent providers and pharmacies.
- To process orders, payments, subscriptions, and shipping.
- To communicate with you about your account, orders, and support requests.
- To improve and secure the platform and prevent fraud.
- For marketing and advertising, where permitted by law and subject to your choices.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3.How we share your information
We share information as follows:
- With independent providers and pharmacies — so they can evaluate you, issue prescriptions where appropriate, and dispense and ship medication.
- With service providers — vendors that perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, hosting, customer support, shipping, and analytics, under contracts that limit their use of your information.
- With advertising & analytics partners — see Section 4. For California residents, some of this sharing may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under California law; see our Your Privacy Choices page to opt out.
- For legal reasons — to comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, safety, and property.
- In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell or share your protected health information for advertising purposes.
4.Cookies, analytics & advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies, including third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics) and advertising pixels (such as those from Google and Meta), to understand how the platform is used and to deliver and measure marketing. These partners may collect information about your activity over time and across websites.
Under California law, the use of certain advertising technologies is treated as "sharing" your personal information. You can exercise your right to opt out — and we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals — as described on our Your Privacy Choices page. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.
5.Data retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the platform, comply with legal and recordkeeping obligations (including medical and pharmacy recordkeeping requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
6.How we protect your information
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including SSL/TLS encryption of data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7.HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices
Protected Health Information you submit for clinical evaluation is handled under our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. The notice explains how PHI may be used and disclosed for treatment, payment, healthcare operations, and other purposes permitted or required by law.
To exercise rights related to PHI, including access, amendment, accounting of disclosures, restrictions, confidential communications, paper copies, or breach notices, contact the Privacy Officer at medicalcompliance@arorahealthgroup.com.
8.Your choices & rights
You can update your account information, unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message, and request access to or deletion of your information by contacting us. California residents have additional rights described on our Your Privacy Choices page.
9.Children's privacy
The platform is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.
10.Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Effective" date above.
